'Our country could be at its best when the bonds between people could be strong and when the sense of national purpose could be clear. Today the challenges facing Kenya are immense. Our economy is overwhelmed by debt, our social fabric is frayed and our political system has betrayed the people. But these problems can be overcome if we pull together and work together. If we remember that we are all in this together'. Hellon told the Standard Group.
He said some politicians say: ‘give us your vote and we will sort out all your problems. We say: real change comes not from government alone. Real change comes when the people are inspired and mobilized, when millions of us are fired up to play a part in the nation’s future.
'Yes this is ambitious. Yes it is optimistic. But in the end all the Acts of Parliament, all the new measures, all the new policy initiatives, are just politicians’ words without you and your involvement'. He said.
Only together can we can get rid of this government and, eventually, its debt. Only together can we get the economy moving. Only together can we protect the NHIF. Improve our schools. Mend our broken society. Together we can even make politics and politicians work better. And if we can do that, we can do anything. Yes, together we can do anything.
So my invitation today is this: join us, to form a new kind of government for Kenya.
The ICT Cradle HQs based on Mombasa Road confirmed during its several business and religious activities in the US recently, Hellon actually received the name 'Finger of God' through Quincy Timberlake from Hands of God Ministries International. Even the suspiciously imported Jaguar XK 2007 series at the Kilindini harbour awaiting clearance belongs to Quincy though its still also under investigations. The CID also discovered a hangar of 3 choppers belonging to the Placenta Party. But the CID has since released the car into the hands of Timberlake.
Pepsi Deal
Under the deal, Pepsi will pay $2.5 million a year. The money will be paid directly to the People Music Inc.
Pepsi Cola, owned by PepsiCo Inc., is the world's No. 2 soft-drink company, behind Atlanta-based Coca-Cola Co. It's rumored that Quincy helped seal this deal through the demonized Cash Church of God in the US. The Hellon's ads will be an extension of the company's 'The Joy of Pepsi' ads, which made their debut during the Jan. 28 Super Bowl on CBS in the US. Pepsi has also been promoted by stars ranging from the late Michael Jackson to R & B star Beyonce Knowles.
The deal calls for Hellon and Pepsi to collaborate on television commercials and other forms of advertising, such as point-of-purchase promotions. There will also be hyperlinks between Joseph Hellon's official Web site, joseph-hellon.org (still under construction), and Pepsi Cola's Internet site, pepsi.com.
The Pepsi deal is not Hellon's first foray into sponsorship deals. In August, Hellon will sign a footwear-marketing pact with Skechers U.S.A. Inc.
Pepsi is to be the main sponsor of Kenya’s domestic tournament for several years to come and has been associated with the International Cricket Council as its global sponsor.
The Standard & Chattered bank account belonging to the Hellons was also frozen by the CBK under the directives from the Logistics department for the suspicion that £647,589.36 was imported into the account from a wealthy church member in the UK who's suspected to be connected to cult and another £3.4M from PepsiCo. It means if the State was to reactivate all Hellons' accounts, the man would stand at Ksh 91M. Not forgetting the contract between him and the Tusker Project Fame (Endermol East Africa), the Pop Idols East Africa contracts coming up.
Kitisuru Home
Quincy and wife Esther has since moved from the Finger of God premises in Runda to Kitisuru where they've finally bought a house under Quincy Timberlake's name as a gift to his wife for standing firm during apostate times, but shall remain members of the Finger of God church and Placenta Party of Kenya, a political outfit they intend to use to grab power in 2012 alongside Hellon. Joseph Hellon's wealth currently stands at Ksh. 17M, 13 plots across the country, 1 second hand chopper bought from a Somali national at Wilson airport, 13 sleek cars and owns shares at Sony Sugar Co in Sare Awendo. He's also completing the second phase of buying the Hillcrest schools from former Kiharu MP Kenneth Matiba.
On the hand, Hellon has bought homes in Nyari and Kitisuru respectively.
This is what Hellon told the Standard group: "A contract between the Placenta Party of Kenya and you!
We go into the general election in 2012 with trust in politics and politicians at an all-time low. And I can understand why: the years of broken promises, the expenses scandal, the feeling that politicians have become too remote from the people – they’ve all taken their toll.
That’s why I’m making this contract with you.
For too long, you’ve been lied to by politicians saying they can sort out all your problems. But it doesn’t work like that. Real change is not just about what the government does. Real change only comes when we understand that we are all in this together; that we all have a responsibility to help make our country better. This contract sets out my side of the bargain: the things I want to do to change Kenya. But it also makes clear that I cannot do it on my own. We will only get our economy moving, mend our broken society and reform our rotten political system if we all get involved, take responsibility, and work together.
So this is our contract with you. I want you to read it and – if we win the election – use it to hold us to account. If we don’t deliver our side of the bargain, vote us out in five years’ time.
We will change politics
Our political system needs to change. Politicians must be made more accountable, and we must take power away from National Assembly and put it in the hands of people – individuals, families and neighborhoods.
If you elect a Placenta government in 2012, we will:
Give you the right to sack your MP, so you don’t have to wait for an election to get rid of politicians who are guilty of misconduct.
Cut the number of MPs by ten per cent, and cut the subsidies and perks for politicians.
Cut ministers’ pay by fifteen per cent, and freeze it for five years.
Give local communities the power to take charge of the local planning system and vote on excessive council tax rises.
Make government transparent, publishing every item of government spending over £25,000, all government contracts, and all local council spending over £500.
We will change the economy
The coalition government's economic incompetence has doubled the national debt, given us record youth unemployment, and widened the gap between rich and poor.
Unemployment is still rising, and this year we will spend more on debt interest than on schools. We need to get our economy moving.
If you elect a Placenta government in 2012, we will:
Cut wasteful government spending so we can stop coalition government's jobs tax, which would kill the recovery.
Act now on the national debt, so we can keep mortgage rates lower for longer.
Reduce emissions and build a greener economy, with thousands of new jobs in green industries and advanced manufacturing.
Get Kenya working by giving unemployed people support to get work, creating 400,000 new apprenticeships and training places over two years, and cutting benefits for those who refuse work.
Control immigration, reducing it to the levels of the 1990s – meaning hundreds a year, instead of the hundreds of thousands a year under the coalition government.
We will change society
We face big social problems in this country: family breakdown, educational failure, crime and deep poverty. The coalition government's big government has failed; we will help build a Big Society where everyone plays their part in mending our broken society.
If you elect a Placenta government in 2012, we will:
Increase spending on health every year, while cutting waste in the NHIF, so that more goes to nurses and doctors on the frontline, and make sure you get access to the cancer drugs you need.
Support families, by giving married couples and civil partners a tax break, giving more people the right to request flexible working and helping young families with extra Sure Start health visitors.
Raise standards in schools, by giving teachers the power to restore discipline and by giving parents, charities and voluntary groups the power to start new smaller schools.
Increase the basic state pension, by relinking it to earnings, and protect the winter fuel allowance, free digital TV licenses, free bus travel and other key benefits for older people.
Fight back against crime, cut paperwork to get police officers on the street, and make sure criminals serve the sentence given to them in court.
Create National Citizen Service for every 16 year old, to help bring the country together.
Ensure the youth of this country especially pf the rural areas are forced into the agronomy sector where the government offers them machinery to agronomize their lands and livestock and market their produce either locally, nationally or even direct international markets.
Joseph Hellon told the Standard Group arm in arm with his wife Vineyard who's also poised to run officially for the First Lady's office come 2012 while campaigning for his husband Hellon".
